OUR STORY
Wild Mother Nature Animal Rescue was founded by Halli Hunt Sheese and Chelsey Syverson with a shared passion for animal welfare, education, and compassionate rescue work.
Before founding the organization, Halli spent years working in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation as vice president of a large rescue organization, gaining extensive hands-on experience caring for injured, orphaned, and displaced native wildlife. Her background in emergency rescue, rehabilitation, and public education became the foundation for Wild Mother Nature’s mission.
Chelsey brings years of experience working with domestic animals through shelter and rescue environments, where she developed a deep understanding of animal behavior, care, rehabilitation, and advocacy. Her dedication to improving the lives of animals and connecting people with compassionate care plays a vital role in the organization’s vision.
Together, they created Wild Mother Nature with the goal of building something personal and community-focused. Rather than becoming a massive, distant organization, they wanted to create a rescue where people could form real connections with the founders, the mission, and the animals themselves. Through wildlife rehabilitation, outreach, and education programs, Wild Mother Nature strives to make every person feel involved in the work of protecting and caring for wildlife.
